Kingfish show up early

The season has started early here in the South. With the water sitting 4 degrees higher than normal for this time of year we are seeing good numbers of Kingfish heading inshore. The amazing run of settled weather with light winds have meant that it has been easy to take advantage of these early season fish.

Anglers have slowly started making an appearance on the flats. Just a quick reminder to be respectful of other anglers by having a quick chat with them about where and how they intend to fish the flats instead of walking out into water where a shore based angler maybe staking out looking for cruising fish.

Also if your driving a camper that is not self contained please book into a motor camp. There are several in the immediate area of the flats.

So I look forward to seeing good numbers of you over here and giving it a go on the flats this summer.

Take it easy.
